"Lines of Resolution features more than 25 artists from 11 countries in the first study to investigate how drawing practices intersected with early broadcast television and video. Between the late 1950s and the 1980s, the growing availability of in-home television sets, and later of portable video cameras, rapidly personalized technology. The electronic screen, in homes and artists' studios for the first time, became a brand-new source of imagery.
