"An Investigation of Embodied Communication and Its Networks. Stella Geppert (b. Lower Saxony, 1967; lives and works in Berlin) is a sculptor and performer whose experimental work draws on choreography, statuary, body extensions, and graphic notations. Her art is centered around an exploration of the body as a medium and material for communicative processes, the global repercussions of simple actions, energetic physical states, and transgenerational transmissions of behaviors. The publication CONNECTIVITIES : Handbook for Embodied Communication is the first to offer comprehensive insight into Stella Geppert’s approach.
