    • Originally published: Amsterdam : Gezelschap Nonpareil, 1998.
    • The English translation of Dr. Karel Nijerk's 'Introduction' to and the "Elucidation" of the three letters was made in 2014 by Willem Keizer in Amsterdam. The text of the letters themselves were written in English and hence reproduced unaltered. The booklet was printed by the translator in 15 copies. Laid into copies no. 1-6 is a 1936 printing of the wood engraved frontispiece by John Buckland Wright for the book 'Avonturiers' by Arthur van Schendel Sr., published as no. 7 in the series 'Folemprise' by L.J.C. Boucher in The Hague"--Colophon of this book.
