The Krystyna Campbell-Pretty fashion gift

Abstract

This publication features some of the icons of fashion through works by Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Vionnet, Madame Grès and Yves Saint Laurent, among others. It coincides with an exhibition of more than one hundred works from the NGV collection gifted and funded by Krystyna Campbell-Pretty from December 2015 to present, along with a substantial fashion research library consisting of photography, magazines and sketches. The exhibition will span the late 19th century to contemporary era.
