Scratch

Abstract

An artist's book referring to Boltanski's work Forbidden Images at the ZKM, Karlsruhe in 2002 where, as Boltanski states, "the images covering the walls of a room will only be revealed by the will of the viewer." The viewer has to consciously decide to 'watch' the images in the book by scraping off the surface to reveal the images below. -- Artwords Bookshop. - Bound with 5 pergamin interleaves.
