"This catalog of the exhibition hosted in Florence (Museo Nazionale del Bargello, 23rd September 2021 - 9th January 2022) is dedicated to the complex perception of the figure of Dante Alighieri and the Divine Comedy in the literary and artistic context of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This volume reproduces a selection of sublime, mystical, and dreamlike works that Dante’s poem offered to the world of art.
