A summary catalogue detailing 452 individual woodblock prints and books of Ōsaka and Kyōto provenance, which form a specific unit within the major collection of almost 5,000 Japanese woodblock prints now housed in the National Gallery Prague. Most of the prints come from Jan Hloucha's earlier collection. The catalogue outlines the prints' technical aspects as well as their sociocultural context, revealing some of the specifics of the internationally popular Japanese culture.
