Invisible: African women in action = femmes africaines en action

Abstract

From Cameroon to Senegal, Mali, Tanzania, to Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauratania or Benin, 'Invisible - African women in action' tells the story of the women working in the sectors of mining, energy and construction, but also in textile, trade, agriculture and water. This work pays tribute to these invisible women whose labor is often neglected and unvalued while they activily contribute to the construction and development in Africa. Their courage, perseverance and tenacity inspired this book.
