Abstract

The figures in the work of Frida Duverger are floating in a dreamy way and expose her personality in a mysterious fashion, e.g. by simultaneously covering it up. This is where intimacy is hiding as well. It concerns an interest, not for the big events of life, but for the little things surrounded by emotion and for the state of empathy itself. We could call it a way of life consisting of tenderness for the things that engulf us and through the glimmering of poetry in everyday life.
