Abstract
A German manual on Chinese painting which includes a description of the genre and the tools and techniques for emulating the style. Paint brushes and stencils are illustrated along with lithographed sample illustrations showing a painting in two states of completion. The manner in which ythe plates are folded cleverly allows the reader to juxtapose the half-completed image along with the completed one.
