Bilder der Rechtsprechung: spätmittelalterliche Wandmalereien in Regierungsräumen italienischer Kommunen

Abstract

An analysis of the systematic Italian decoration programs in public places of jurisprudence in Italy during the 13th and 14th centuries. Using case studies of wall paintings from this period, the author investigates the visualization of the underlying juristic principles and political interests within the different systems of jurisprudence in the Italian cities of the Late Middle Ages.
