Poe's "The masque of the red death and other tales" (The Halcyon Press 1932, Reid A9), as reprinted in C. van Dijk's 1991 book. Plus a 2 pp. Note on the four rejected wood engravings and 12 bl/wh. illustrations of John Buckland Wright 's wood engravings for the book (incl. 2 versions of the cover design, the 3 engravings shown in Du Perron's original article and 7 illustrations of the 4 rejected prints and their 3 substitutes) by W. Keizer.
