    • Op titelpagina: One of the most outstanding paintings in the entire oeuvre of Willem Van de Velde the Younger. It was very probably commissioned by the famous Lieutenant-Admiral Cornelis Tromp. The painting was in the collection of the Earls of Wemyss, Scotland, for over 250 years from around 1750.
