Untitled (Nude Studies)

Sanne Sannes (mentioned on object), c. 1962 - 1967

In the course of his short life, Sanne Sannes photographed women and their sexual desire over and over again. Nudity, lovemaking, intimacy and close embraces: the photographer worked in immediate proximity to his subjects, circling around them. Together the close-ups form a long ‘film-like’ sequence, in which eroticism and desire are central.
