Two Ge

anonymous, c. -1200 - c. -1050

Such dagger-shaped weapons were hafted at right angles to a long wooden shaft, and probably used by foot soldiers. However, the presence of turquoise inlays sets these weapons apart from the ordinary. They might have been owned by high-ranking soldiers, reserved for use during ceremonial rites of sacrifice.
