Linksvoor een groep mensen waaronder enkele Chinezen en een Moor, op de achtergrond een rijtuig met Europeanen. De koetsier van het rijtuig slaat met zijn zweep naar een ruiter. Mogelijk verbeelding van een bekend voorval (wellicht naar een voorbeeld).
