Twee ridders in volle wapenrusting te paard. De linker ridder stelt de voorvader van Brandes voor uit Bohemen. Schild, holster en schabrak van zijn paard dragen het familiewapen met zeven bijen. Het blazoen van ridder Hirschman is een hert.
