This large plate is decorated with a central vine bearing grapes, enclosed by flowering tendrils and a wave pattern around the rim. It is a type of ware intended for the Islamic market. In the 16th century the design was frequently copied by Iznik potters in Turkey.

    Schotel van porselein, beschilderd in onderglazuur blauw. Op het plat een druivenrank. De wand met een doorlopende bloemrank en de rand met een band met kolkende golven. De achterwand met een bloemrank. Ming porselein in blauw-wit.
