Model van een schegbeeld op scheg, op een grondplankje. De figuur bestaat uit een mannenhoofd, dat met een lauwerkrans gekroond wordt door een harpij boven hem; de harpij blaast ook op een bazuin, die smane met de rechterarm echter ontbreekt. De scheg en het vloerplankje zijn versierd met bladwerk in reliëf. De figuur stelt Van Oldenbarneveldt voor, gekroond door Faam.

Entry

Wooden model of a figurehead on the knee of the head, mounted on a base, incomplete. The figure represents a male head being crowned with a laurel wreath by a harpy above him. The harpy is blowing a trumpet, which is missing together with the right arm. The base and the knee of the head are decorated with relief carvings of foliage. The figure represents State Pensionary Johan van Oldenbarnevelt (1547-1619) being crowned by Fame.
