De verwijfde Hercules en koningin Omphale, met de attributen van Hercules, liefkozen elkaar. Pan - die verliefd is op de koningin - ligt languit op de grond. Hij is zojuist door Hercules weggetrapt. Op de achtergrond zijn Omphales dienaren toegesneld.
