Entry
Polychromed wooden ‘bread-and-butter’ style half model of the starboard side, six layers, of a two-masted screw-propelled pilot vessel, mounted on a white, wooden backboard.
The side of the ship is closed and painted black. The deck is closed and flush with the side. The model has a clipper bow and an elliptical stern. Below the stern an empty frame for a screw propeller is painted on the backboard, but it features no rudder. The sheer rises forwards. One sheer rail and the rail cap are indicated, both are painted red. The hull is V-shaped and painted a metallic bronze colour below the waterline. The position of two masts and the bowsprit is shown in a truncated form. Both masts rake considerably.
The model is said to represent the pilot vessel Narebout,1J.M. Obreen et al., handwritten inventory list for items 944 to 1431, 1884, manuscript in HNA 476 RMA, inv. no. 1089, no. 1152. but no historical documentation could be found to support this.
Scale unknown.
