This piece of chintz is dyed in two shades of red and two shades of blue, and painted in yellow and green. The outline of the flower and leaf patterns is highlighted with gold. The pattern of flower bouquets is a traditional Indian design for chintz, and also influenced English, French, and Dutch printed cotton.

    Fragment sits, katoen, geverfd door middel van beits- en uitsparingstechniek in twee tinten rood en twee tinten blauw, geschilderd in geel en groen, contouren gehoogd met goud. Dessin: op een netwerk van stippels die een ruitvormige figuur maken, waarin een kruisje, en op het witte fond een patroon van grote boeketten, meest anjelieren. In passe-partout gezet.
