  • Verbeeld is een door de eigenaar van het ex libris gekweekte orchidee. De voorstelling is geïnspireerd op het drukke leven van de opdrachtgever (de bij) en diens liefhebberij (orchidëen). Ontwerp werd door Verhagen ingezonden voor de 6th Annual ex libris exhibition van The Bookplate Association International, mei 1930 in Los Angeles.
