Bridge Over the Oude Maas River at Spijkenisse

From 1869 engineers and contractors in the Netherlands were required to photograph the progress of the construction of large public works. Between 1900 and 1904 Arnaud Pistoor & Zn. travelled regularly from Den Bosch to Spijkenisse. In one of the photographs the revolving part of the bridge can be seen in the open position. They succeeded in capturing imposing compositions in both pictures.
