De apostel Bartholomeüs, staand bij een aqua- of viaduct, in de rechterhand een boek, in de linkerhand een mes. Onder de voorstelling twee regels Latijnse tekst. Deze prent is onderdeel van een serie van 14 prenten, elk bestaand uit een beeltenis ten voeten uit van een apostel, Christus of Paulus met typerende attributen en een onderschrift in Latijn.
