  • "300 copies of this book have been printed at the Bird & Bull Press in June 1988. The text was set in Van Dijck types by Michael Bixler; the Index by Mackenzie-Harris, and was printed on dampened B & B 'Jericho' paper, made at the Press. The inserts are printed on various European mould-made papers. The book was bound by Barbara Blumenthal. The calligraphic title page has been assembled from components in J.G. Schwandner's Calligraphy (1756). Unfortunately he drew no bulls, and his bird is a rooster, but at least his goat has nice horns, which is close enough. Other calligraphic art herein is also from the pen of J.G.S." -- Colophon.
