Abstract

MacArthur Fellows from the arts, natural and social sciences, and humanities take part in a broad conceptual discussion around the keywords "conservation / preservation / restoration." Topics touched on range from museum conservation of art objects, to conservation in the wildlife and environmental sense, to the functions of memory and narrative.
