Abstract

Contents: Hayward (Edward) The sizes and lengths of riggings.-Kendall (George) The Clerk of the Surveigh surveighed.-Hayward (Edward) The answer of Edward Hayward, Clerk of the Survey at Chatham, meerly for his own vindication, to a most abusive and scandalous pamphlet, lately published and dispersed by George Kendal.-Kendall (George) Reply to a paper called Mr. Hayward's answer to G. Kendal's scandalous pamphlet. The first part consists of a facsimile of the 1655 edition together with facsimiles of the title pages and preliminaries of the 1660 and 1666 reissues. The last three parts are enlarged photographic reproductions of the editions of 1656.
