Abstract
"The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) is dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of artistic masterpieces from various periods of Taiwan's art history. With the 35-year effort since its inauguration in 1988, the NTMoFA has become the most prestigious cultural base for Taiwan's art history. In 2017, the Ministry of Culture (MOC) launched the Reconstruction of Taiwan's Art History project as part of its policy, and the NTMoFA is duty bound to help fulfill this project. Underpinned by its solid professional foundation and spurred by the MOC's policy, the NTMoFA has also devoted considerable effort to the collection, research, and exhibition concerning artists from different times. Among all these artists, Huang Tu-Shui was definitely a distinguished sculptor whom we revere as well as feel proud of and reluctant to part with"-- Foreword (page 14).
