Soho projects: FrenchMottershead : over the threshold : photographic project made with residents of Soho

Abstract

London based artist duo FrenchMottershead (Joint pseudonym of Rebecca French and Andrew Mottershead) spent 6 months as artists in residence in Soho. Working collaboratively, they photographed groups of residents in their homes, using movement, clothing and props to create eleven narrative works. Each work explores an aspect of Soho life - from the challenges of urban gardening, to the joy of being able to walk everywhere.
