Abstract

"In 2010 [Peter Hellemons] decided to only create work with his own family as the subject. He chose a new medium to express his ideas. Over the past nine years, Peter Hellemons has made eight tapestries in which the relationship with his daughter Flora takes a pivotal role. He specifically chose to work with fabric because of its tactile value which is essential to him in these works."-- Introduction.
