Abstract

"The Schick Collection consist of high quality art from China, mainland South-East Asia (especially Khmer), Indonesian art from Borneo, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Java, Bali, Timor, and the Moluccas. Papua New Guinea has been included as well, along with a selection of African Art. Collected over a period of over 50 years, in situ and from the art trade, the Schick Collection is a personal journey through the cosmos of non-European art.
