Abstract
Although small in size, this is a detailed and informative work on the many kachō-ga by Ohara Koson. The sections are divided by season, with some extra sections of rare prints by publisher Kokkeidō and rare prints under different signatures. Concludes with a brief history of kachō-ga and informative notes about techniques and compositional devices. All texts in both Japanese and English--Provided by publisher.
