Abstract

"MoMu - ModeMuseum Antwerpen bewaart de grootste collectie textiel, designer- en historische kleding in België en biedt een representatief overzicht van de West-Europese damesmode van de achttiende eeuw tot nu. MODE. De MoMu-collectie Antwerpen brengt een gecureerde selectie samen, verrijkt met context, grafisch en archiefmateriaal uit de MoMu-bibliotheek. Met werk van gevestigde ontwerpers zoals Dries Van Noten, Martin Margiela, Walter Van Beirendonck, Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, Helmut Lang, Raf Simons en Ann Demeulemeester. Ook de jongste generatie komt aan bod met werk van onder andere Glenn Martens, Rushemy Botter & Lisi Herrebrugh en Demna Gvasalia"--Provided by publisher.
