Abstract
A publication offering historical and technical insights into photography, exploring topics ranging from early photographic documentation and the development of camera design to cultural representations of photography. Launched in February 1968 as Pentax Gallery News, it began as a 4-page leaflet featuring exhibition information and brief editorial content. In August 1972, with issue no. 19, it adopted Mirror Image (ミラー・イメージ) as a prefix to the original title and was expanded into a magazine format of 30 to 40 pages. In October 1978, with issue no. 40, it reverted to a leaflet format but continued publication until its final issue, no. 93, in July 1993.
