Abstract

This report presents the findings of research conducted on Chinese paintings and calligraphy held in the collection of the Kyoto City University of Arts Art Museum, carried out in preparation for an exhibition. The study places particular emphasis on works donated by Tanomura Chokunyū, which represent an important early component of the museum’s holdings.
