Abstract
"Since 2002, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) has continued to promote and support the development of techno art and cultivate new talents. Efforts of the museum in the past decade include commissioning and arranging open calls for curatorial and art projects, selecting creatives to attend residencies in international digital art institutions, subsidizing technological and interdisciplinary art projects, and maintining the DIGIARTS website, encouraging up-and-coming artists and curators to present more innovative and forward-looking works. At the same time, forums, workshops, artists' talks, and other promotional events have also provided platforms for digital art creatives to exchange ideas, strengthening digital technology and art collaborations and allowing Taiwan to be presented on the international stage."-- Preface, page 5.
