Abstract

Since the 1970s-which marked the end of the classic industrial and Machine age-industrial furniture has increasingly been used in private living quarters, particularly in the furnishing of lofts and big-city apartments. The first catalogue devoted to this hitherto barely recognized phenomenon of design history. Exhibition: MAK-Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art, Vienna (until 30.10.2011).
