Francesco Messina: prodigi di bellezza : 120 opere a 120 anni dalla nascita

Abstract

This is the catalog of the great retrospective set up in Vercelli from 19th December 2021 to 27th February 2022 celebrating one of the most important Italian sculptors of the last century. Large marbles, bronzes, sacred works, many portraits of friends and colleagues are reproduced. Among the most important works, we find the sculptures of horses and Italian dancers such as Carla Fracci and Luciana Savignano. Texts by Andrea Corsaro, Marco Arnolfo, Daniele De Luca, Sandro Parmiggiani, and Luigi Marsiglia.
