Einblicke: Zwölf Essays über Fotografie und einer über die Eisenbahn

Abstract

Einblicke brings together thirteen essays, most of them from the last ten years, almost all of them on photography. This medium, which we deal with every day, is considered from diverse perspectives. As a result of the author's selection and orientation, the essays provide insights that, in the best case, are concentrated to become realizations. Each essay is a carefully researched narrative from the analogue world of photography. Readers can follow the sequence of perspectives that is suggested, but can also - and this is the aim of this booklet - themselves be inspired, and thus arrive at their own perspectives through handling what is offered playfully and with curiosity.
