Abstract
Founded in 1955 in Luoyang, Henan, Di yi tuo la ji zhi zao chang was one of the 156 key industrial construction projects under the First Five-Year Plan and the country's first tractor manufacturing plant. It was at this factory that China’s first crawler tractor 'Oriental Red' (东方红 [Dongfanghong]) was produced.
