Abstract

"Le Musée national Picasso-Paris présente sa nouvelle exposition temporaire, « Dans l'appartement de Léonce Rosenberg. De Chirico, Ernst, Léger, Picabia ... ». Sous forme d'évocation d'un décor disparu, l'exposition permettra de mettre en lumière un ensemble pictural inédit et méconnu, conçu par des artistes majeurs de l'entre-deux-guerres.L'exposition présente l'histoire du décor mythique de l'appartement parisien du marchand et galeriste Léonce Rosenberg. Celui-ci entend associer son nom au cubisme tardif mâtiné de figuration, voie ouverte par Picasso, artiste qu'il admire et accompagne pendant la guerre et les années 1920."
