Abstract

This exhibition traces the costumes designed for drama, ballet and opera by Christian Lacroix. The catalog includes his designs for Romeo and Juliet in 2008, his creations for the Comédie-French and the Paris Opera, including performances of Don Giovanni at the Innsbruck Festival in 2006 and Gaite Parisienne ballet in 1988. It includes preparatory sketches from the National Centre stage costume (CNCS) in Moulins, Paris Opera and the Opera Comique.
