Abstract

This richly illustrated third part of the overview of Ghent blacksmiths presents the biographies of all the jewelers who between 1798 and 1869 belonged to the Ghent examination room, so amongst others also from Aalst, Oudenaarde and Sint-Niklaas. In addition, two essays have been included on the Ghent top jeweler P.J.J. Tiberghien.
