Explanatory note

  • Prent voor: Hofdijk, W. J. Ons Nageslacht, 1859-64. De oorspronkelijke tekening door Hans Bol, 'De maand februari', maakte deel uit van een serie van twaalf tekeningen met afbeeldingen van de maanden van het jaar. Deze tekening is gedateerd 1580 en bevindt zich in het Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
