Gunlock (Flintlock) for a Carronade

Rechts kanonslot (vuursteenslot) met messing huis en ijzeren slotmechaniek, haan en pandeksel. Het slot wordt gemonteerd met een pin in de slotsteun en een bout daar dwars doorheen. De pan heeft een gat waardoor de vonk naar het zundgat geleid wordt. De trekker heeft een aftrektouw, dat naar boven door een zware ring geleid wordt.

Entry

Right-handed gunlock (flintlock) with brass box and iron mechanism, cock and pan cover.

The lock is designed to be mounted with a pin in the base patch and a bolt right through it. The pan has a hole through which the spark is passed to the vent. The trigger has a lanyard that goes through a ring above.
