Club RoXY was known internationally for its theatrical and glamorous atmosphere. Wessel: ‘It was just up the street from my house. I took it all for granted, but of course it’s a great pleasure when the crème de la crème of after-hours entertainment is willing to pose for your camera – for example Wendy Wustlich, here with her poodle. It’s then that you realise: it doesn’t get any better than this.’
