Oil and Vinegar Cruet Set

Isacq Samuel Busard, 1767

This set consists of glass bottles for oil and vinegar and a silver pepper shaker. The couple Alexander van Bylandt and Anna van der Duyn had their family coats of arms engraved on the shaker. The pierced frame of the basket mimics wickerwork.

    Olie- en azijnstel van zilver met twee kristallen flacons en een zilveren peervormige strooibus. De onderzijde van de mand is versierd met takken. De wand is opengezaagd met een patroon van kruisende banden. Op de bodem van de mand en op de bus is het alliantiewapen van Alexander Rijksgraaf van Bylandt en Anna Barones van der Duyn gegraveerd.
