Vierarmig bronzen kruis met rond schild aan draagoog en draagring. Op de voorzijde staat een gekroonde W in een tot krans samengebonden eikentak en lauriertak. Op de keerzijde is eenzelfde krans te zien waarbinnen de jaartallen 1830-1831 gegraveerd zijn. Op de vier armen van het kruis is de tekst TROUW AAN / KONING / EN / VADERLAND te lezen. Het kruis hangt aan een lint dat is verdeeld in 6 gelijke banen groen en oranje (verbleekt).
