De Heilige Catharina knielt op de grond. Een beul trekt zijn zwaard om haar te onthoofden. Twee engelen komen aanvliegen met een laken klaar om haar hoofd op te vangen. Op de achtergrond het rad dat door een bliksemschicht vernield werd, voordat Catharina erop gemarteld kon worden. Prent maakt deel uit van een album.
